Social Train of the Clouds Social Responsibility Program

We are a State Society of the province of Salta that, in its constitution and as a fundamental part of its objectives, is our commitment to sustainable and inclusive development, it becomes a reality through our Social Responsibility (RS) program that Train a las Nubes has been doing since 2015. This consists of a series of programs based on four strategic axes that aim to involve the populations located in our area of ​​influence, encouraging the strengthening of their cultural identity, care and preservation of the environment, safety and care of its inhabitants.

During the year 2018 the developed RS program has had the following characteristics according to each strategic axis

The strategic axes of the Tren a las Nubes Business Social Responsibility program are the following:

Anfitriones
  • Convenio con la Sec. de Cultura para la organización de concursos fotográficos del Tren y de los atractivos locales.
  • Convenio con la Sec. de Cultura para Premio vouchers Gestores Municipales Culturales (71 beneficiarios).
  • Implementación en el cronograma de salidas del Tren a las Nubes, con 20 (veinte) salidas temáticas puntuales que hacen a la difusión y al fortalecimiento de la identidad cultural de la comunidad, por ejemplo, la salida temática en honor al carnaval andino, a la Pachamama, al aniversario de la desaparición del Gral. De la Patria Don Martín Miguel de Güemes, al día de la tradición, a la peregrinación anual del Señor y la Virgen del Milagro, solo por mencionar algunas.
Social and Educational Promotion

Environmental Protection

  • Agreement with CEO-Sol Foundation to update environmental training and final disposition of waste that can be received.

  • Renewable energies, Implementation of solar panels in bathrooms of S. R. De Tastil in 2018.

Generation of sustainable and inclusive Economic Resources
  • This new modality in the Train to the Clouds excursion, allows the direct benefit on the original communities of the creek and the puna thanks to the expense that tourists make in the different stops estimated at $ 24,900,000 pesos per year in 2018.
